College Access Counseling's Services

If your school or community organization helps first-generation and low-income students reach for college, College Access Counseling is in your corner. We provide you with the most current information, techniques, and "best practices" about the college admission & financial aid process so you can prepare the young people you work with for the best college opportunities.

We specialize in working with teachers, parents, mentors, counselors, and other adults who support underserved students on the path to a college education.

Our services are based on your organization's needs. Call or email us to set up a time to discuss your plans and goals.

These services can be combined as needed. Longer-term consulting is also available.

College process capacity assessment

College planning workshops for teachers, counselors, staff, mentors (two hours)

Counseling seminars for teachers, counselors, staff, mentors (interactive; four hours)

Specific individualized projects for your organization

Speaking Engagements

College Access Counseling staff are happy to speak to your group or your students about the college process, the importance of doing well in school, fundamentals of financial aid or any other college-related topics.

Participants in the above programs will receive written materials (worksheets, articles, instructions, etc.) that can be used within the organization.

Contact Us

Please contact College Access Counseling to discuss your organization's plans and goals. We will develop a program based on your needs, budget, and time constraints.

In order to make college information as accessible as possible, we take into account your group's size and the number of students you expect to reach as well as other considerations when developing fee schedules. We do not want to exclude anyone based solely on budget and will do our best to work out a plan that fits your needs.
